FAIRBURY, Neb. (July 12, 2024) - Gavin Miller claimed the 25-lap feature event victory on Friday during the preliminary night of the Midwest Championship at Jefferson County Speedway with the Dirt2Media NOW600 Micro Sprint National Championship presented by Hi Plains Building Division.
A huge field of 58-NOW600 Non-Wing Micros made the call to the 1/5 mile oval to compete alongside the USAC National Midgets.
Gavin Miller fought off a battle at the line to claim the victory after taking the lead on lap 21. Gaige Weldon settled in second with Cruz Dickerson rounding out the podium. Tate Gurney was fourth at the line with Cale Coons charging up nine spots to round out the top five.
Trey Zorn from 17th finished in sixth. Seventh went to Dylan Kadous. Garett Hake was eighth. Cale Lagroon moved up seven spots to finish ninth. The top ten rounded out with Jackson Kounkel.
Cale Lagroon, Cruz Dickerson, Jackson Kounkel, Brady Argles, TJ Stark, Jaxon Brenning, and Dylan Kadous each claimed Milestone Home Service Company heat races. Dylan Kadous was also the K&B Racing Quick Qualifier.
The Dirt2Media NOW600 Micro Sprint National Championship wraps up the week on Saturday at Jefferson County Speedway in Fairbury, NE.
