BRANDON, S.D. (July 7, 2024) Putting together a sold weekend between 360cid and RaceSaver action, Cole Vanderheiden collected a trio of podium finishes.
Starting at the Belleville Highbanks on July 3 in the Davis No. 3z, Cole drove in an 11th-place finish after starting 13th in his first trip to the famed half-mile. Moving into RaceSaver competition the remainder of the weekend, July 4 saw a third place run at U.S. 30 Speedway.
Achieving the high mark of the weekend at Crawford County Speedway on July 5, Vanderheiden clayed his way from 10th to second over the course of 20 laps.
Running from rain on July 6 at Eagle Raceway, then I-90 Speedway, racing resumed at Husets Speedway on Sunday, with Vanderheiden again having to claw his way to the front. Gridding 13th for the 20-lap affair, the end result was another podium finish.
