Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (July 8, 2024) – Jack Dover will pilot the Tim Estenson Motorsports No. 14 this Friday at Jackson Motorplex.
The Midwest Sprint Touring Series 410 Sprint Cars event at the dirt oval in Jackson, Minn., will mark the first time this season that Dover will drive the car in which he primarily serves as the crew chief.
“Last year I got behind the wheel a couple of times during the season as I think it helps the program when I can feel some of the things Tim talks about,” he said. “I’m also excited to head to a track where I’ve enjoyed a lot of success.”
Dover last competed at Jackson Motorplex in June 2022, when he placed fourth and ninth, respectively. He posted a pair of third-place results there in 2021 and two fourth-place outings in 2020. Dover was victorious at the track in 2019, when he added four additional top fives. He recorded three wins there in 2018 and two in 2017.
“I’ve been fortunate to win a lot of races at Jackson and feel like I’ve been a contender in a lot of other races there,” he said. “It’s a track where I’ve had speed and been able to put myself in a good position come feature-time. That will be the goal again this Friday. I think if we can get ourselves into the first couple or few rows of the main event we can run up front.”
Friday will mark Dover’s fourth start of the season. He was victorious during his season opener in a Midwest Sprint Touring Series 360 Sprint Cars race and placed third in a Malvern Bank 360 Sprints show before he finished in the B Main of a Kubota High Limit Racing event during his most recent start.
