Sarver, PA (July 4, 2024) Fab4 Racing Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy returns to The Action Track on Friday night for the first time in over two weeks. After a splendid 18th annual Firecracker 100 and a successful inaugural DirtTV 3-Wide Friday a week ago, the weekly racing series picks back up this week, which for most divisions will be round seven, save for the Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars who completed their seventh round last Friday night.
Dale Blaney took his first feature win at Lernerville since 2015 in that seventh round last Friday night, holding off stiff challenges from both AJ Flick and invader Matt Farnham in the final half of the race en route to the checkered flag. It was a refreshing win in a season for the Sprints that have seen seven time track champion AJ Flick and regional hotshoe Brandon Spithaler each come away with three wins, leaving the rest of the drivers within looking for answers on how to get past either one and stay there on the way to Terry Bowser Excavating Victory Lane. In the Precise Racing Products Late Models, The Crusher Kid...aka Michael Norris has now gone five for six thus far this season and has been stopped only once this year on a regular Friday night by Tyler Dietz.
It's been a two driver race in Diehl Automotive Big Block Modified action at the top of the standings as Garrett Krummert and Rex King Jr. have two wins apiece and are holding firm at the top of table. New York and Canadian invaders Eric Rudolph and former four time track champion Mat Williamson have both been by for a visit so far in 2024 and have both collected a feature win in their appearances. Meanwhile, there's now three Schneider's in the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stock standings and a heated battle between Christian and Chris up front. The two drivers are separated by just six points and since Tyler Dietz has elected to spend more time working on his Late Model programs, one of them could very well be on the way to their first career Lernerville track championship!
