Winston, Mo: Saturday night July 6th at I-35 Speedway the USAC MWRA Sprint Car Series sponsored by Wholesale Batteries returns to action for race number 9 of the 2024 season.
So far, six different drivers have “parked it” in victory lane racing in the MWRA this year in eight feature events. While eleven different drivers have won heat races as well in 2024.
I-35 Speedway History:
The first ever MWRA event was held at I-35 on June 13th, 2020 with Battlefield, Missouri, driver Kory Schudy taking the victory driving the Jon Sawyer Racing number #28.
Since then, eight races have been run at the Northwest Missouri dirt track, including three more in 2020 with Topeka, Kansas, racer Wyatt Burks winning them all in the WBR/Rumsey 11w.
In 2021 Schudy was victorious twice again in the JSR machine, while Nixa, Missouri, pilot Wesley Smith won the first Bill Lawson Memorial racing the John Helm Racing number 12.
The MWRA has conducted two more shows at I-35 since then with Overland Park, Kansas, wheelman Luke Howard driving the LHR 2 to victory in 2022, and Wyatt Burks grabbing his fourth all-time win in the series at the Winston dirt track in 2023.

This Saturday night July 6th at I-35 Speedway in Winston, Missouri the grandstand will open at 4pm. Followed by hot laps at 6om. With Races to follow.
For the racers, pit gates will open at 4:pm, Pill draw 4:15 to 5:45, before hot laps.
