RAPID CITY, S.D. (June 24, 2024) The ASCS Northern Plains Region takes on Black Hills Speedway in Rapid City, S.D. on Friday, June 28, then Gillette Thunder Speedway in Gillette, Wyo. on Saturday, June 29.
Last on track at the South Dakota half-mile in July 2023, Kansas shoe Jeremy Huish picked up a pair of wins at Black Hills Speedway. Montana’s Phil Dietz was the victor in the tour’s last stop at Gillette Thunder Speedway.
Two events in on the 2024 season, Colorado’s Adam Trimble leads tour standings by 18 over Trever Kirkland. Canada’s Kelly Miller is 21 points removed from the lead, with Kory Wermling and Phil Deitz making up the top five in a three way tie with Nick Haygood and D.J. Brink.
Friday, June 28 at Black Hills Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). All teams must be in the Pits before 6:30 P.M. Other classes on the card include IMCA Hobby Stocks, Wissota Mod 4, Wissota Midwest Modifieds, Wissota Street Stocks, and IMCA Modifieds. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and veterans, $4 for youth 12 and under that are over four-feet-tall, and free for kids under four-feet-tall.

Saturday, June 29 at Gillette Thunder Speedway, gates open at 6:00 P.M., with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). The night’s lineup of classes will include Wissota Midwest Modified, IMCA Hobby Stock, IMCA Modifieds, Wissota Mod-4, and GTS Mini Bomber. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and veterans, $5 for 12 years and younger over four-feet-tall, and free for kids under four-feet-tall.
