Zander LaRose and Harrison Robards represented RS12 Motorsports at Missouri’s Doe Run Raceway on Friday evening, where each young Spartan Transportation-backed driver turned in strong results.
LaRose raced in the L0206 Restricted Box Stock class and swept the night on the 1/6-mile oval, leading every lap in both his heat race and 10-lap feature. “Z-Man” bested Maverick Beard, Karter Bates, Presley Hall and Alianna Evans to take the victory.
Meanwhile, Robards competed in the A-Class Winged Micro and Winged Outlaw Micro classes at Doe Run. In A-Class, Robards won his heat and began the 15-lap A-Main from the front row. He dropped one spot and claimed a third-place result behind Ryan Mueller and Matt Bagby. Nyles Tudor and Quinn Sisson rounded out the top five.
In the Winged Outlaw Micro ranks, “Dirty Harry” drove to fifth in his heat and started from the fifth spot in the 20-lap feature. He climbed one position in the race and recorded a fourth-place finish as he followed Josh Gibson, Mueller and Dave Couch under the checkered flag. Thomas Chandler came home fifth.
