ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints Return To Baton Rouge Raceway

ZACHARY, La. (June 19, 2024) Making the season's second of three stops at Baton Rouge Raceway, the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints returns to action on Saturday, June 22.

The 11th round of the 2024 season, the series' last trip to the Louisiana oval, was the third race of the tour, with Jan Howard topping the 23-car field. Going into the weekend, Howard sits fourth in points, while Lane Whittington leads by 46 over Evan McElhaney. Third is held by Jake Brashier with Brad Bowden completing the top five.

Other winners at Baton Rouge include Todd Fayard (10/8/2021 and 4/4/2022), Michael Miller (7/15/2022 and 10/7/2022), and Channin Tankersley (4/14/2023). Jan Howard also won on 6/24/2023.

Saturday, June 22, Pits open at 4:00 P.M., and grandstands open at 5:00 P.M. Hot Laps are at 7:00 P.M., and racing is at 8:00 P.M. (CDT). Other divisions on the card include Pure Stocks Rookie Limited, Modified, Young Guns, Limited Modified, Stinger, Generation Next Limited Mods, CRUSA Dirt Late Models, and Mini Wedge, CRUSA Street Stocks.

General Admission is $20 for adults, $5 for youth (7-12), and free for kids six and under.
