Coming off his second victory in mid-May, Waylon Phillips returned to Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex (Sweet Springs, Mo.) on Saturday evening powering his Taffs Carpets sponsored Non Wing Micros.
After charging through the field and crossing the line in fourth in the Non Wing Outlaw A-Main, Phillips was disqualified and relegated to the tail of the finishing order.
Ending the night on a high note, Waylon rolled to a runner-up finish in the Community Bank Non Wing Micro main event. He followed up a fourth-to-first heat showing with a second-place A-Main outing.
