BOSTON, MA (June 12, 2024) – This Saturday, June 15th, Lancaster Motorplex will witness the ultimate 350 Supermodified showdown as a full field of 350 SMAC Supers competes for a grand prize of $10,000 in the highly anticipated Mayhem at the Motorplex event.
The event will feature a stellar lineup of drivers, with the Muldoon Motorsports team leading the charge. New Hampshire’s Burke Motorsports will field several cars for the event: local favorite Bobby Holmes (Lazy 8), former Star Classic champion Matt Riley (01X), and Modified star Mike Christopher Jr. (69), making his SMAC debut.
Kenny White Racing will also bring three cars to the Motorplex: Kenny White (77), a driver TBA (77X), and Jim Barker (3). White, still searching for his first SMAC win despite several runner-up finishes, is eager to break through at the Motorplex.
A healthy contingent of Oswego Speedway regulars is set to make the journey west to the Motorplex as well, led by defending champion and last week’s victor, Josh Sokolic (6). Joining him will be 2023 Rookie of the Year, Robbie Wirth (4), alongside rookie Griffin Miller (9M) and feature winner Kyle Perry (20). Additionally, Dan Kapuscinski (32) will be making his debut with SMAC at Spencer Speedway this Friday, while Barry Kingsley (91) will be making his first start with the series at Lancaster.
New England will of course be well-represented, featuring former SMAC winners Scott Watts (F80) and Bill Helliwell (07NH), along with George Helliwell (01H), Paul Buzel (9B), Mike Spurling (61), and Stephen Duphily (66).
Additionally, two Outlaw 350 Supermodified Series regulars from Ohio, Sawyer Stout (40), who has won the last two events at Flat Rock Speedway and Plymouth Speedway, and Frank Neill (88N), will join the competition.
The event kicks off with pits opening at 2:00 PM, followed by practice sessions at 4:00 PM, and heat races starting at 6:00 PM leading up to the 45-lap, $10,000 to win main event.
