Bryan Hulbert - CORLEY, Texas - (May 10, 2013) Added just a week ago to the 2013 slate, 22 cars filed into the newly opened Timberline Speedway for the Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Regional debut at the red clay oval.
At the end of 25 laps, former Lucas Oil ASCS presented by MAVTV American Real Champion Terry Gray took the night’s Lone Star payday.
Following the first 10 laps to Blake Hahn, the Bartlett, Tenn. driver earned the pacers position after Hahn spun his Griffith Truck and Equipment No. 17. After inheriting the lead, Gray sped to victory with Tim Crawley and Seth Bergman rounding out the podium. Logan Forler and Zach Pringle made up the top five.
Kolt Walker ran sixth with Blake Hahn salvaging his night with a seventh place run. Ray Allen Kulhanek placed eighth with Patrick Stasa charging from twenty-second to ninth. The top ten wrapped up with John James.
The Smiley’s Racing Products Lone Star Region continues its Mother’s Day Weekend with events on Saturday, May 11 at the Sixty-Seven Texarkana Speedway.
