Cade Lewis maintained his prowess in USAC Western States Midget competition by capturing Saturday night’s feature victory at California’s Ventura Raceway.
Lewis (Bakersfield, Calif.) leads the series’ championship standings and also led all 30 laps of the main event after starting from the pole position in Dean Alexander’s No. 101.
Caden Sarale (Stockton, Calif.) grabbed second while Drake Edwards (Peoria, Ariz.) took third. C.J. Sarna (Palm Desert, Calif.) crossed the stripe fourth while Dane Culver (Riverside, Calif.) rounded out the top-five.
For Lewis, it’s his third career USAC Western States Midget victory, and his first at the 1/5-mile dirt oval at Ventura.
