Hartford, MI – Great Lakes Traditional Sprints presented by MacAllister Rental rolled into Hartford Motor Speedway Friday night for their first and only visit of the 2024 Season. The 2022 GLTS Champion, Keith Sheffer, Jr (Jerome, MI) topped the field of 17 cars to win his first feature of the 2024 Season.

Trey Osborne (Columbus, OH) on his first visit ever visit to Hartford Speedway came out on top setting quick time, over current GLTS Champion Stevie Irwin (Fenton, MI), Brian Ruhlman (Clark Lake, MI), Max Frank (Williamston, MI) and Luke Hall (Ludlow Falls, OH).

Starting on the outside of the front row, Luke Hall wins the MacAllister Rentals Heat 1 with Brian Ruhlman, Trey Osbourne, Mike Astrauskas (Pierson, MI) and Aidan Salisbury (Colorado Springs, CO) rounding out the top 5 spots.

In the Beacon and Bridge Markets Heat 2, Jay Steinebach (Hudsonville, MI) started on the pole and led all 8 laps to the checker with Keith Sheffer, Jr, Max Frank, Stevie Irwin and Rob Caho, Jr (Rush City, MN) rounding out the top five.

Sheffer won from the pole, but had to battle Hall and Osbourne the whole race keeping them at bay through lap traffic and finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively. With battles going on in groups throughout the pack, Stevie Irwin was able to claw his way up from 8th to end up 4th and earn the Operating Engineers Hard Charger. Jay Steinebach was able to hold on for 5th.
