ELK CITY, Okla. (June 7, 2024) Whit Gastineau collected his first career win Friday night with the ASCS Sooner Region at Elk City Motorsports Park, as the tour kicked off the first of two nights at the western Oklahoma oval.
Leading from start to finish, Gastineau streaked away from the field by 3.404 seconds. Kyler Johnson was second, followed by Jeremy Campbell in third. Casey Wills and Elijah Gile completed the top five.
Back on Saturday, June 8, gates open at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, military, and youth (9-15), and free for kids eight and under. Elk City Motorsports Park is located at 5612 W 20th St. in Elk City, Okla. Information on the track is posted on their Facebook page or by calling (580) 514-3267.
