AMARILLO, Texas (June 3, 2024) A combined $7,000 to win is on the line for the MYCO Plastics ASCS Elite Outlaw Sprints as the tour heads for the Texas panhandle for Route 66 Motor Speedway on Friday, June 7, and Saturday, June 8.
Topped by El Paso’s John Carney II in 2023, Route 66 Motor Speedway was very lucrative for Carney in 2023, as he returned in July with the Elite Non-Wing Series and captured an $8,500 score.
Looking to this weekend, Sam Hafertepe, Jr. leads tour standings by 17 points over Noah Gass. Third is held by Blaine Baxter with Brian Bell and Marcus Thomas making up the top five after three events, in which wins have gone to Hafertepe, Gass, and Brent Marks.
Friday, June 7, opens at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CDT), with Saturday, June 8, starting an hour earlier. Tickets Friday are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors, youth, and military. Discounts remain the same for Saturday, with adult admission going to $25. For directions and info on Route 66 Motor Speedway, visit their website or call (806) 803-1212.
