Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (June 3, 2024) – Parity has been paramount throughout the first handful of races at Huset’s Speedway this season.
There have been 11 different feature winners in a dozen main events thus far and the championship battle is less than a dozen points in two of the three premier divisions heading into Frankman Motor Company Night this Sunday.
The closest contest is in the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks as the top nine drivers are within nine points of each other. Tim Dann currently leads the championship standings with a four-way tie for second between John Hoing, Zach Olivier, Matt Steuerwald and Cory Yeigh all six points behind Dann.
Tyler Rabenberg is atop the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series standings by 11 points over Brady Donnohue. Dusty Ballenger is one point behind Donnohue with Shayle Bade 15 points out of the lead and Brandon Halverson 18 points behind Rabenberg.
Kaleb Johnson has built the biggest lead with a 33-point advantage in the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars. Christopher Thram ranks second with Sam Henderson four points behind him. Mark Dobmeier is 43 points out of the top spot and Justin Henderson is one point behind Dobmeier.
Yeigh became the track’s first repeat winner of the season last Sunday when his second triumph of the year came during the 10th A Main. Other winners this year include: Tyler Drueke, Tim Kaeding, Anthony Macri and Daison Pursley in the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars; Brylee Gough and Olivier in the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks; and Ballenger, Monty Ferriera, Andrew Sullivan and Cole Vanderheiden in the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series.
The main gates open at 5 p.m. with racing scheduled for 7:30 p.m. this Sunday.
Adult tickets are $20 at the gate or $17 if purchased in advance. Tickets for students 13-years-old to 18-years-old are $10 at the gate or $8 in advance. Children 12-years-old and younger get in free.
