RS12 Motorsports races with WFO Micro Series at two Midwest tracks

Two days of tough competition were on the slate for the RS12 Motorsports contingent as May drew to a close, highlighted by entries in the WFO Winged Outlaw Micro Series at Doe Run Raceway on Thursday and Coles County Speedway on Friday.

RS12 stalwart Harrison Robards was among 39 WFO entrants at Missouri's 1/6-mile Doe Run Raceway on Friday evening. He drove to a fifth-place result in his heat and third in his B-Main, earning a transfer into the 20-lap, $1,500-to-win feature. “Dirty Harry” advanced eight spots from his starting position to record a 13th-place result.

On Friday, 48 WFO Winged Outlaw Micros took to the 1/8-mile Coles County Speedway in Mattoon, Illinois, for another $1,500-to-win program. After finishing ninth in his heat, Robards came home 11th in his B-Main and did not make the 20-lap main event.

Robards also took part in the 39-car Non-Wing Micro class at Coles County on Friday. A seventh-place finish in his heat race and a fourth in his B-Main put him 24th on the grid to start the 20-lap feature. He steered to a 17th-place result in the race.

Also on Friday, RS12's Zander LaRose was among 16 Junior Sprint competitors at Coles County Speedway. After finishing seventh in his heat race, “Z-Man” started the 15-lap A-Main from the seventh row. He climbed one position and recorded a 13th-place result.
