Kyle Steffens took his Performance Plus Global Logistics No. 8 Silver Crown entry into battle at Lucas Oil Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) over the weekend for the Memorial Day special at the asphalt oval.
With 24 USAC Silver Crown National Championship competitors entered for the 67th annual Hoosier Hundred, Steffens battled rear end issues early that prevented him from taking a lap Honest Abe Roofing Qualifying. Lining up 20th for Saturday’s A-Main, Steffens advanced through the field 10 spots in the 100-lap affair to register a 10th-place finish.
