OCRS Staff | Bristow, OK (May 25, 2024) - The excitement was high as thirty-one drivers signed in for the first night of Sprint Fest at Lake Ozark Speedway. A outstanding lineup of cars and drivers took to the track for the heat races, with victories claimed by Brad Best, John Barnard, Joe Bob Lee, and Terry Easum. Randy Martin triumphed in the semi-feature, setting the stage for a thrilling main event.
Wout Hoffmans and Joe Bob Lee led the pack to the green flag, with Hoffmans quickly taking the lead. Despite multiple attempts by Lee and Rees Moran to overtake him, Hoffmans held strong.
However, it was eighth-place starter Kyle Clark, driving the Danny Smith-owned 5$, who made his move. With skill and patience, Clark maneuvered past Hoffmans to seize the race lead. From there, nothing could slow him down, and Kyle Clark powered his way to victory in the night's feature event. Joe Bob Lee, Johnny Kent, Noah Harris, and Rees Moran completed the top five, while Zach Chappell earned the hard charger award by advancing past eight competitors.
