Ryan Timms got an early start to his Memorial Day weekend with a visit to Millbridge Speedway (Salisbury, N.C.) on Tuesday afternoon to pull double duty in the Midget and Non Wing Micro ranks for the Double Down Showdown.

Taking on the Xtreme Outlaw Series aboard the Keith Kunz Motorsports No. 67 Midget, Ryan raced into the opener with a fourth-to-second heat showing. Receiving the fourth-starting position for the A-Main via the redraw, Timms made a late mistake that dropped him to 12th in the finishing order.

Aboard the CB Industries No. 84 Non Wing Micro, Timms followed up a fifth-place heat performance with a 13th-to-5th run in the 25-lap feature.

Back at the 1/6-mile oval on Wednesday, Ryan lost ground in his Midget heat race but was able to recover later in the night to score a top-10 finish. With a consolation victory pinning him on the sixth row for the feature, Timms advanced forward nine positions to register a sixth-place finish.

Pulling a off late victory in the Non Wing Micro A-Main, Timms wrestled away the lead from race-long pacesetter Neal Allison on lap 27 and paced the final four circuits to claim his fifth win of the season. He finished 0.151 seconds ahead of Allison with Chase Cabre, Ashton Torgerson and Braden Chiaramonte rounding out the Top-5.

On Friday, Ryan parked the Keith Kunz Motorsports No. 67 Midget in victory lane with the Xtreme Outlaw Series at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) after making a late-race pass in the 25-lap feature. He took the lead from Kale Drake on lap 19 and ran off with his second win of the week.

Following a second-place finish in the Xtreme finale at Atomic Speedway on Saturday, Timms' weekend drew to an early close in Sunday's Weikert Memorial at Port Royal Speedway (Port Royal, Pa.). The heavily contested High Limit Sprint Car Series event drew 53 entries but Ryan wasn't able to transfer out of his consolation event, ending his bid for the $75,000-to-win A-Main.

Ryan is currently second in the latest Xtreme Outlaw Series point standings.
