Waylon Phillips was back pulling double duty on Friday evening at Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex (Sweet Springs, Mo.) in both Non Wing Micro events.
Phillips lost ground in his Non Wing Outlaw heat but was able to drive up to second from sixth in the Non Wing ranks. Following a sixth-place finish in the Outlaw A-Main, Waylon led flag-to-flag in the Community Bank Non Wing Micro main event to claim his second win of the season in only his fifth start. He finished ahead of Quinton Benson, Quinn Jones, Chase Koch, and Cruz Dickerson.
