Bryan Hulbert - TULSA, Okla. (May 3, 2013) The month of May has opened with rain, snow, ice, and whatever else nature seems to want to throw at the Midwest but despite the weather’s best efforts to spoil everyone’s fun, the ASCS Nation will still see competition on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4.
Still on schedule, the Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Region, American Bank of Oklahoma Sooner Region, Hose Advantage Store Southwest Region, and 305cid Sprint Cars will all be in competition this weekend.

Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Region - May 3 - Golden Triangle Raceway Park
Friday, May 3 at the Golden Triangle Raceway Park will see Grandstands opening at 6:00 P.M. and races beginning at 7:45 P.M. with the Pure Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Street Stocks, Limited Modifieds, and Dwarf Cars completing the event card. Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Region - May 4 - Battleground Speedway
Saturday May, 4 at the Battleground Speedway opens at 5:00 P.M. with races at 7:00 P.M. Along with the Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Sprint Cars, the night will include Eco Stocks, Pure Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Limited Modifieds, and Mod Lites. American Bank of Oklahoma Sooner Region - May 4 - Lawton Speedway
Events at the Lawton Speedway on Saturday, May 4 are scheduled to begin at 8:00 P.M. with gates opening at 6:00 P.M. Joining the American Bank of Oklahoma Sooner Region are the USA Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, and Factory Stocks. Hose Advantage Store Southwest Region - May 4 - Tucson International Raceway

ASCS 305cid - May 4 - Route 66 Speedway
With a limited schedule for the 2013 season, the ASCS 305cid national points chase returns to action this Saturday, May 4 at the Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas. The event marks the first visit for the fledgling 305cid series to the Texas oval. Gates will open at 6:00 P.M. (CT) with races starting at 7:00 P.M.
