LOXLEY, Ala. (May 21, 2024) Kicking off the summer season with a doubleheader weekend at Deep South Speedway, the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints invade on Friday, May 24, and Saturday, May 25.
Last welcoming the series in October of last year for the season finale, Zane DeVault and Sammy Swindell split time in Victory Lane. ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints will go for two again in October at the Alabama oval.
Rounds seven and eight in 2024, Jan Howard leads the way into the weekend with a 136-point margin over Evan McElhaney. Third is Lane Whittington, with Jake Brashier and Brandon Blenden making up the top-five.
Friday, May 24 includes IMCA Modifieds, Pure Stocks, and Stingers. Saturday, May 25 moves classes to Factory Stocks, Street Stocks, 604 Late Models, and Open Modifieds. Tickets per night are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military, $10 for youth (8-12), and free for kids seven and under. Stands each day open at 5:00 P.M. with racing at 7:30 P.M. (CDT).
