Sarver, PA (May 16, 2024) The ground will shake and the thunder will roar on Friday night as the BRP Modified Tour takes center stage, featuring the area's best Big Block Modified pilots in their 2024 tour kickoff. Meanwhile, the Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Cars, Precise Racing Products Late Models and Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks will be partaking in round three of their chase for the championships following consecutive rainouts of weekly Fab4 racing action.
The Firestarter..aka Erick Rudolph comes into the 2024 season on the heels of back to back series championships and would have to be considered the early favorite should he choose to race the entire tour again this year. Rudolph has a feature win already at The Action Track in 2024, besting the 23 car field on hand on April 26. Rudolph now owns four outright series titles and 29 feature wins good for number one on the all time winner's list. Right behind him and very much considered title contenders are Lernerville weekly competitors Rex King Jr, and Garrett Krummert who both have wins this season with King taking the honors during the Steel City Stampede Reboot earlier in April and Krummert taking the win on opening night. Drivers from as far away as southern Ontario are expected to make the haul down and the series has drawn much more than a full field of cars during the majority of their tour stops at Lernerville over the years.
