BILLINGS, Mont. (May 14, 2024) Kicking off the tour’s 12th season with a weekend double at Big Sky Speedway in Billings, Mont, the ASCS Frontier Region is back in action on Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18.
The site of last year’s season-opening event, Canada’s Kelly Miller swept the weekend before taking his run to a four-race win streak. Taking in two more triumphs before the season’s end, Miller compiled 10 top-five and a dozen top-10 finishes in 13 starts for an easily won championship.
Trever Kirkland ended the season runner-up in tour standings, followed by Phil Dietz, Joe Perry, and Kory Wermling. In all, 40 drivers took part in the 2023 season.
Friday, May 17, and Saturday, May 18, at Big Sky Speedway open at 5:30 P.M. with racing at 7:00 P.M. (MDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for veterans and seniors (65+), and free for kids 60-inches tall or shorter. Paws N Claws Sport Compacts, IMCA Modifieds, Wissota Midwest Modifieds, and Wissota Super Stocks are also on the lineup.
