This Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11, the Advanced Fastening Supply Badger Midget Auto Racing Association will visit the greater Chicagoland area for a doubleheader weekend. Adding to the excitement is the fact that their sister sanctioning body, the Midget Auto Racing Association, will be joining the card.
Friday starts with Kankakee County Speedway, where in 2023, Badger made their first appearance in over 30 years. Last year's race saw 37 midgets check into the pits. Between MARA losing their first three dates to Mother Nature and Badger only having one go under their belts, teams are going to be chomping at the it to hit the track.
Last year Kankakee was the only race on the weekend. This time, scheduling Sycamore Speedway the next day, Saturday, makes it's logistically sweeter for teams from both bodies. A large car count is expected.
