Bristol, WI – April 23, 2013. After some rain showers today, it finally looks as if winter is wrapping up in Wisconsin and the racing season should get underway this weekend for Bill Balog and the B2 Motorsports team. The team has been busy this offseason as they are prepping for a 46 race schedule in 2013 with the World of Outlaws, the All Star Circuit of Champions, the Interstate Racing Association, and at the Knoxville Raceway. With all of the team members returning for the 2013 season, the B2 Motorsports team is hoping to continue with the success that they had in 2012 as they picked up 18 wins and their unprecedented 5th consecutive Interstate Racing Association Championship.
It all should start this weekend as the team will open with the Interstate Racing Association this Saturday at the Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, WI for the annual Jim Wipperfurth Memorial. Bill and B2 Motorsports 17B sprinter captured the win last fall in this rain delayed event and are eyeing up the hardware again and hoping to start the year with a win. The following weekend, May 3rd and 4th, the 17B sprinter will head to Rossburg, Ohio to Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway to take on the World of Outlaws. This will be the first ever trip for the team to the famed ½ mile track.
B2 Motorsports is also continuing the search for marketing partners for the 2013 season. Anyone interested can contact Bill at balogb17@yahoo.com or Matt at littlekw022@gmail.com.
