The United Racing Club is mourning the unexpected passing of former URC Regular Chris Coyle on April 9th 2024. Born on July 1st of 1977. Coyle was a part of URC for over 25 years and ran with URC regularly from 2007 till 2011 as well as the 2016 and 2017 season. Coyle was a 5 time winner with URC with his most coming in 2007 with 3 wins. His most recent and final URC win was at Path Valley in 2017. He was 46 years old.
"So sad to hear we lost a fellow URC racer.” URC President Dave McGough Said. “I always respected him as a competitor. He was a good clean guy to race with.”
Chris is survived by his fiancé, Amy Maule; his parents, Jack and Sharon Coyle;and his sister, Lisa Cella. Services will be held at St. Matthew R.C. Church 901 E. Newport Pike, Wilm., DE 19804, on Friday, April 19 at 11am. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 am -11am. Interment will take place privately.
The United Racing Club would like to send our deepest condolences and Prayers to the entire Coyle Family.
