CALHAN, Colo. (April 9, 2024): A new season, a new name, and a new chapter for the Colorado-based ASCS Western Plains Region, as the wings get bolted on for the 2024 opener on Saturday, April 13, at El Paso County Raceway.

Formerly the wingless Elite North series, the tour transitioned to wings partway through the 2023 season and will continue that during 2024, focusing on the overall traditional rules of the American Sprint Car Series.

During the tour’s last visit on September 23, 2023, Glen Brace captured the season-ending checkered flag.

Saturday, April 13, opens at 1:00 P.M. with cars on track at 4:00 P.M. Admission is $20 for adults, $15 for Military and Seniors, $10 for youth 4-12, and free for kids three and under. For more information on El Paso County Raceway, call (720) 404-0400 or log onto https://www.bstpromotions.com. El Paso County Raceway is located at 366 10th St. in Calhan, Colo.
