Rolling off on the sixth row for the opener via a third-place heat result, Setser powered forward three spots in the 30-lapper to place ninth.
Back aboard the Midwest Tube Mills No. 43 Midget on Friday at Port City Raceway (Tulsa, Okla.), Gunnar stormed into the main event with a seventh-to-fourth showing in his heat. Collecting another top-10 finish, Setser rolled to a ninth-place outing.
Back at the eighth-mile oval on Saturday, Setser’s third-place finish in his heat positioned him on the sixth row for the weekend finale. Steering into the top-10, Gunnar moved forward four spots to cap off the weekend with an eighth-place finish.
