The Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series 2013 season opener, slated for this Saturday night April 20th at the Oshkosh SpeedZone, has fallen victim to the extended winter the upper-Midwest has been struck with. Wisconsin tracks simply haven't had any kind of favorable conditions to work the track. It's been unseasonably cold temps combined with off and on rain and snow nearly all of April, and with more of the same forecasted for the next few days, it has forced the highly anticipated IRA opener to be pushed back. IRA returns to the SpeedZone on Friday June 21st as previously scheduled, and is working with track officials there in regards to rescheduling the April event to September. IRA will now focus its' attention on Beaver Dam Raceway in hopes of getting the 2013 season underway, as the annual Jim Wipperfurth Memorial is scheduled to go trackside Saturday night April 27th. IRA will be headlining an all open wheel show which also includes the MSA 360's, and the WIMS Mini Sprints. We need some sun here in Wisconsin!
