The AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series makes its second appearance at Cocopah Speedway in Yuma, Ariz. this weekend and Mark Alexander teammates Nic Faas and Damion Gardner are ready to square off for the series point lead.
Races at the 3/8-mile dirt oval are set for Friday and Saturday nights and the two point leaders are separated by just four points after the first four races.
Faas, the winner at Perris, Calif. April 6, also has a pair of seconds and a third, while Gardner, seeking to increase his all-time series victory lead which stands at 41, has a pair of seconds and a pair of fourths so far this year.
