DUQUOIN, Illinois (March 8, 2024) - Kole Kirkman handled the NOW600 Heartland Auto Racing Tour opener on Friday night inside the Southern Illinois Center.
A staggering field of 35 HART Non-Wing Outlaw Micros were on hand for the opening rounds of the Midwest Winter Nationals.
Rolling from the pole of the 25-lap feature event, Kirkman led wire to wire to score the victory. Cale Coons from the fifth starting spot crossed in the runner up spot with ninth starting Parker Perry rounding out the podium. Harley Hollan was fourth with Tyler Hartzell making up the top five.
Camden Winter would be scored sixth with Gunnar Setser placing seventh. Eighth went to Daniel Robison who started 18th on the grid. Gunner Shroyer and Sam Kimmel rounded out the top ten.
Harley Hollan, Tyler Hartzell, Max Crabdree, and Paige Moss scored heat race wins while Gunner Shroyer and Daniel Robinson each claimed the nights B-Feature wins.
The NOW600 HART Series returns back to the Southern Illinois Center on Saturday for the finale of the Midwest Winter Nationals.
