Dodge City, Kan 2/21/2024 (www.urssracing.com) - The United Rebel Sprint Series made the announcement later last year in November that Dalton Janousek would become the voice of the United Rebel Sprint Car Series. A few months later, the series is announcing its newest addition to the broadcast booth.
Kelby Fetters, 13, has been involved in the racing community since the day he was born. His father being Kyler Fetters, a lot of opportunities presented themselves not only for his father, but for himself. Kyler, a longtime announcer and official of the URSS in the earlier years, to track promoting and operating more recently. The experience has started to seep its way down the roots to his son Kelby.
From racing outlaw karts, micros, and anything capable of going over 65 mph, Kelby has been growing not only as a young driver, but a true enthusiast for the sport. “I think he is a fantastic addition to the broadcast” says Janousek. “Every broadcast you do can be good, but having those extra elements and pieces to the puzzle, like Kelby, really turn a broadcast from good to great” he added.
Kelby Fetters will serve as the primary Pit and Infield Reporter for all Dodge City Raceway Park events and URSS Events.
