BELLS, Texas (February 17, 2024) - Jake Galusha, Isaiah Garcia, and Braxton Weger each drove to victory on Friday night at Grayson County Speedway to kick off the 2024 season for the Dirt2Media NOW600 Micro Sprint National Championship presented by Hi Plains Building Division.
A field of 70 cars strong between the three national divisions was headlined with 26 Winged A-Class, 30 Stock Non-Wing and 14 Restricted on hand.
Earning the pole of the 25-lap feature event in A-Class, Jake Galusha went on the lead wire-to-wire. Johnny Boland advanced three spots to cross in second with Caiden Mitchell rounding out the podium. Hayden Mabe finished in the fourth spot with Jaydn Friesen making up the top five advancing six positions.
Isaiah Garcia drove from tenth to pick up the Non-Wing feature event win. Johnny Boland would cross in the second spot with Brady Ross moving up four positions to round out the podium. Alex Karpowicz was fourth and Hayden Mabe from thirteenth finished out the top five.
Braxton Weger led wire-to-wire in Friday's 20-lap Restricted feature event.Deekan McRoberts from sixth finished in the runner up spot. Jude Allgayer from eighth made up the podium. Fourth went to Cash Lacombe with 12th starting Ollie Gieger making up the top five.
Racing continues on Saturday for the Dirt2Media NOW600 National Micros with the finale of the Clash at the County at Grayson County Speedway. Hot Laps are slated for 3:30pm.
