Determined to continually innovate the fan experience, High Limit Racing will introduce Fan Fest and driver playlists to the nightly routine when the season begins with the Battle at the Bay at Tampa, Florida’s East Bay Raceway Park on Monday and Tuesday, February 12-13.
Bringing fans straight to the drivers and teams, Fan Fest will consist of a 20-30 minute time slot carved out of the program prior to opening ceremonies. Following qualifying and prior to heat races, the pit area will be open to all as fans get an up close look at the cars and the teams at work, while also interacting directly with the stars of the show.
During Fan Fest, drivers may be at their cars in the pit area, or signing autographs and selling merchandise at their t-shirt trailers. While Chase Raudman addresses those who are watching FloRacing at home, Tony LaPorta and Alex Brown will be in the grandstands hosting games and offering prizes to fans at the track. At the conclusion of Fan Fest, all fans will return to the grandstands and the program will resume with Opening Ceremonies and immediately into heat races.
“Showcasing our drivers’ personalities and increasing fan engagement will continue to be priorities of ours,” said Kendra Jacobs, Chief Marketing and Events Officer at High Limit Racing. “Fan Fest gives fans options on how they want to spend that purposeful break in the evening. We look forward to offering it at more tracks and watching it evolve as the season continues.
“Reading the drivers’ playlists has been fun for all of us. I hope the fans enjoy it as much as we’ve enjoyed the build-up to it. The drivers have been thoughtful and are truly taking this chance to share who they are off-the-track with the fans.”
Another unique aspect added to High Limit events in 2024, the High Rollers themselves will be the at-track DJ during race nights. Fans will get a glimpse of driver personalities with music hand selected by the drivers. Each driver will have a specific event dedicated to their playlists.
Shark Racing’s Jacob Allen, one of Sprint Car racing’s most beloved characters, will DJ the season opener at East Bay Raceway Park. His playlist includes songs from Led Zeppelin, Morgan Wallen, Machine Gun Kelly, Lenny Kravitz, Zach Bryan, and more. Kasey Kahne will be the DJ of the series’ second event at Golden Isles Speedway later this month.
A High Limit Racing driver playlist has been added to Spotify, and will be continually updated throughout the season. You can listen to and download the High Limit Racing playlist at https://bit.ly/3SvSkXP.
Fan Fest and the driver playlist at each event join the previously announced Butlerbuilt Professional Seat Systems Hot Seat question and Durst Dice Roll as High Limit Racing initiatives to bring the fans closer to the drivers and spotlight the High Rollers’ personalities.
All of these new experiences will debut next week at the High Limit Racing season opener at East Bay Raceway Park. Single day tickets and discounted two-day “Battle at the Bay” packages are now available for purchase at https://bit.ly/4b1Ov3N. Plus, anyone who purchases a reserved seat in advance online will get a free pit pass add-on.
