The IRA continues to put final touches on the 2024 schedules, for both the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series and AutoMeter Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints powered by Gandrud. On Sunday night of Labor Day weekend, September 1st, the two groups will descend on the popular Door County tourist area and their first appearances ever at The Hill Raceway. The third-mile is located at the John Miles County Park in picturesque Sturgeon Bay, WI. A holiday weekend in a tourist area excites both IRA President Steve Sinclair and track promoter John Sternard, Sturgeon Bay is the anchor city of the Door County, a very popular Wisconsin tourist region, and on a holiday weekend with two sprint series, oh boy! Details on 3rd class have yet to be released. The Hill marks the 6th first time venue for IRA 410's in 2024, and allows the wingLESS series to see some new dirt too.
The Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints run the night before, Aug 31st, as they headline Saturday night of the Sheboygan County Fair at the Plymouth Dirt Track, a race they share the card with the PDTR/MSA Sprints. It's definitely one of our favorite and most fun events of the year, love the county fair atmosphere and it brings a great crowd and lots of families. To be able to combine that with a race in Door County on Sunday is an awesome way to continue a great family weekend especially with Monday being a holiday. While the wingLESS series is off Saturday, we're hoping families come up early and either take in a day in Door County or stop by the fair and have fun in Plymouth on the way, heck a few might even want to throw a wing on and race with the 360's.
The Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints are also extremely proud to announce that both long time series associate sponsors, TW Metals, and Cummins Onan (Onan) are back on board for 2024. "I'm really proud to have all our long time sponsors back on board, I'm really proud of the long term relationships we have with our sponsors," said Sinclair. Certainly it's great for all our partners for cool events like these, but being able to get the word out nationally for our sponsors on FLO is great added value for companies like these.
We're excited for 2024!
