2024 ASCS National and Regional Point Funds Announced!

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (January 22, 2024) - As the 2024 season for the American Sprint Car Series presented by RacinDirt.com nears, officials have announced both National and Regional point funds.

After increasing the point fund in 2022 under ownership of Terry Mattox, the 2024 ASCS National Championship point fund will remain unchanged with the season champion pocketing $50,000 at the awards banquet in January of 2025.

“The past two season have exceeded our expectations and to keep going in the right direction it just makes sense to keep things like they are on the National side of things.” stated ASCS Owner, Terry Mattox.

2024 ASCS National Championship Point Fund Breakdown: 1) $50,000, 2) $30,000, 3) $25,000, 4) $20,000, 5) $15,000, 6) $14,000, 7) $13,000, 8) $12,000, 9) $11,000, 10) $10,000.

The minimum point funds for ASCS Regional Tours will be modified as follows. Most regional tours have series sponsors that increase their end of the season point fund.

ASCS will pay off the following scale. If a regional tour acquires sponsorship they will advertise and pay their increased amount.

2024 ASCS Regional Tour Point Fund Breakdown: 1) $2,500, 2) $1,200, 3) $900, 4) $800, 5) $700, 6) $600, 7) $500, 8) $400, 9) $350, 10) $300.

Drivers must be ASCS members in good standing while attending 80% or more events in order to qualify for point fund.

2024 National point fund will be paid during the banquet in January 2025. Regional Tour point funds will be mailed the week following the Chili Bowl Nationals.

The 2024 season will mark the 33rd year of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours that encompass both wing and non-wing competition.
