The Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Car Series is proud to release the following additional dates (having previously released April, May, & June dates) of their 2024 schedule. While there are still a couple of TBA's to finalize we felt it was important to get as much out now as possible. The month of June was quite busy, so July will begin with a weekend off prior to the Wilmot World of Outlaw weekend July 12-13. Then IRA goes back to work, heading to North Dakoda July 19-20 to join up with the Northern Outlaw Sprint Association (NOSA) for the 3rd annual Buffalo Wild Wings King of the Wings which goes green with a pair of events at the River Cities Speedway. However we are working on making this a 3-day swing beginning the 18th, stay tuned. IRA closes out July with a Saturday night appearance on home turf at the Plymouth Dirt Track for the 28th annual Frank Filskov Memorial July 27th, where the PDTR/MSA 360 Sprints share the card.
August begins with another off weekend prior to the Aug 7-10 Knoxville Nationals. IRA, as a series gets back to work for one of their most festive weekends of the year Aug 17-18 with annual appearances at Wilmot Raceway for the Kenosha County Fair and an all IRA affair as the WI wingLESS Sprints and IRA Lightning Sprints join in on the fun. Then Sunday it's Sun Prairie's annual Corn Fest at Angell Park Speedway where the Badger Midgets join in. As of this writing, Aug 24 is still up in the air as we're talking with several tracks, but plans are to be racing somewhere. It should also be noted that the date for the annual Harry Neitzel Tribute event at the Dodge County Fairgrounds has yet to be determined, and will be added to either the last weekend of Aug, or a Friday in September ahead of another WI date. Officially the month of August concludes Aug 31st with another fun event, the Sheboygan County Fair race at the Plymouth Dirt Track joined as usual by PDTR/MSA 360's.
September begins with the series heading to northwest WI for a pair of traditional events, Sept 6-7, with the Northern Nationals at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior, and the 24th annual Jerry Richert Memorial at Cedar Lake Speedway. The 14th has IRA on the eastern edge of the state at the popular 141 Speedway where the IRA Lightning Sprints share the card. The weekend of Sept 21 is yet to be determined, and then the point season concludes Sept 28th as always with the big A-main Apparel Wisconsin Sprint Car Championships at the Plymouth Dirt Track which features championship night for everyone with the WI wingLESS, PDTR/MSA 360's, and IRA Lightning Sprints all crowning champions too.
The open (undetermined dates / locations) will be announced soon. Also as previously mentioned, the series will be racing for a minimum of $4000 to win, $400 to start, or MORE, at all 2024 events, with the only exceptions being the first night of a 2-day show at the same track.
Good News, the Hopf Farms Bullring Showdown will be back, and dates with a new theme will be announced soon.
