2024 will see a new beginning for Winged Outlaw Micro racing in the central-Midwest with the inaugural Hyper Racing WFO Winged Outlaw Micro Series presented by Dirt2Media season kicking off in massive fashion. Series co-founders Brian Rieck and Tyler Robbins have formulated a schedule full of track diversity and some sure to be fantastic racing.
The schedule sees the series visit 9 different tracks across multiple states and 12 weekends, with 3 of those being doubleheader stops.
The season will begin on March 8th-9th at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds (Indoor) in doubleheader action, with $1,000 on the line both nights.
The series then will travel to the Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex in Missouri on April 6th for a night of racing alongside the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets with another $1,000 up for grabs.
On April 27th the WFO Series will make its first of 4 stops at the newly updated Coles County Speedway in Mattoon, IL with drivers vying for a $1,000 payday.
May 30th and 31st will be the series’ first doubleheader weekend at two different venues, once again alongside the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets. Doe Run Raceway in Missouri plays host to the series on the 30th then moving back to Coles County Speedway on the 31st. Both nights on this Memorial Day weekend of speed will pay $1,500 to win. A $500 bonus will be awarded if a driver can take the win at both Doe Run and Coles County this weekend.
The series will then make its debut at the micro sprint hotbed at Southern Illinois Raceway in Marion, IL on June 8th. $1,000 will be on the line for the first of 2 stops at SIR in 2024.
June 14th and 15th will be one of the series’ marquee weekends, heading to Coles County Speedway for a doubleheader weekend with Friday paying $1,000 to win and Saturday a whopping $5,000. This will surely be a Father’s Day weekend of racing you won’t want to miss.
After a few weeks off, the series returns at the mighty Macon Speedway in Illinois on July 20th with a $1,000 payday awaiting the winner at the fearsome bullring.
Wayne County Speedway in Wayne City, IL will host the series for its one and only stop of 2024 on August 3rd, and the series will wrap up the month of August on the 24th at Southern Illinois Raceway. Both August dates will pay $1,000 to the feature winner.
September 14th sees the series once again join forces with the Xtreme Outlaw Midgets, this time at the Highland Speedway in Illinois for another $1,000 to win show.
The 2024 season for the Hyper Racing WFO Winged Outlaw Micro Series presented by Dirt2Media will conclude in doubleheader fashion at the legendary Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, Illinois. $750 will be up for grabs during Friday’s prelim night with $1,000 going home with the Championship Night winner.
