Last week stung a bit, leading every lap except for the last one. But not last night, Bryce Comer drove his butt off and led every lap as well as the most important lap, the last one. Was a heck of first lap pass on the outside. Our buddy Bill Gise was able to finish 3rd.
Robby Hoffmann was able to be in the pits and he worked his butt off getting that car perfect. It was a rocket ship. He freaking killed it !
Uncle Bruce Comer was able to make it again and made sure we had the tire stagger options we needed as the track changed.
The road crew Ryan Comer, Taylor Comer, Gina Pollard, Savannah Pettys , as usual for supporting Bryce and Austin Vowell for working his magic with a can of wd40 and a rag.
It was extra special night. Our life long friends and old neighbors from Maryland, Vernon D. Tome and LaReda Tome were able to come watch and celebrate his win.
Zach Peters was flagging the race and he also flagged Bryce’s last go kart win several years ago! So that was pretty cool.
Was a great weekend to wrap up the season hanging with friends Heidi Hoffmann, Bill Gise,Kelly Eilers Lamb, Zack Amundsen, Amber Grace Amundsen and all the kiddos and fur babies. Spent Friday watching Robby Hoffmann and C-man race go karts for the first time and Robby take home the win. Saturday the kids also raced quarter midgets and C-man got the win also.
