The 2023 season wrapped up for Cloverdale, Ohio’s Abby Hohlbein over the weekend as she invaded Gas City I-69 Speedway (Gas City, Ind.) on Saturday night to pilot her J&M Excavating No. 11H entry with the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets.
Following the fourth-fastest qualifying effort, Hohlbein stormed into the A-Main with an eight-lap heat race victory. Securing her sixth top-five finish of the 2023 season, Abby rolled to a third-place finish in the 20-lap affair. She chased Matt Lux and Bryce Massingill to the checkers with Zach Wigal and Adam Taylor completing the top-five finishers.
