Whittall to make his return with Williams Grove and BAPS double

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (September 21, 2023) - Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports are officially back in the game, set to make their return to sprint car competition this Friday and Saturday, September 22-23, with a two-race slate through the Keystone State. Whittall, ace of his own JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, K Seal, No. 67 sprinter, will make his first start in nearly two months, sidelined due to a concussion sustained in a late July incident.

Despite the time off due to injury, Whittall is rested, refreshed and ready to get back to work, eager to kick off the last segment of his 2023 campaign which features some of the biggest events of the season.

In addition to his plans to join the Posse in Williams Grove’s upcoming Outlaw Tuneup on September 22, as well as visit BAPS Motor Speedway for the Kevin Gobrecht Classic on September 23, Whittall will battle the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in a power swing of Pennsylvania starts, all of which igniting with Williams Grove Speedway’s annual National Open.

Port Royal Speedway’s two-day Nittany Showdown, as well as the rescheduled Tuscarora 50 featuring the All Star Circuit of Champions, are also on the Fall agenda.

“The reason for being off wasn’t the best of circumstances, but it gave us a time to regroup and refresh, and a race team can never have too much of that,” Whittall, an A-Main qualifier for the prestigious Eldora Million, said. “We just took our time and did what the concussion doctor told us. Luckily, we were able to get through the protocol in time for some of the bigger Fall races. We’re hoping to come out strong and put up some great results to end the year.”

ON DECK:
Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will continue their 2023 campaign with another round of action in Pennsylvania Posse Country, this time setting aim on Williams Grove Speedway’s Outlaw Tuneup on Friday, September 22, followed by BAPS Motor Speedway’s $10,000-to-win Kevin Gobrecht Classic on Saturday, September 23.
