Waylon Phillips went back to Sweet Springs Motorsports Complex (Sweet Springs, Mo.) on Saturday afternoon and left the Missouri oval with another top-five run.
After a tangle in the Non-Wing feature led to an early exit, Phillips survived a caution-plagued A-Class feature to finish fourth. Despite losing ground in the middle stages of the 20-lapper, Waylon wheeled to a fourth-place finish. He followed Keegan Brewer, Aubrey Smith, and Jaden Alexander across the line with Jared Bledsoe coming in fifth.
