The Bumper to Bumper IRA Sprint Car Series makes their yearly return to the Horsepower Half Mile of the Dodge County Fairgrounds.
This season has been full of head turners. Sage Fruit, Hepfner Racing Products Rookie of the Year contender Brenham Crouch sits on the top of the leaderboard with a commanding 254 point precedence. Crouch (Lubbock, TX) has one win under his belt, with 21 features, 13 top fives, and 16 top tens in the 2023 season.
Another competitor to keep your eye out on is Sheboygan Falls, WI native Travis Arenz. He currently sits third in IRA points once again as a Sage Fruit, Hepfner Racing Products Rookie of the Year contender. Arenz is only 45 points away from second place Jordan Goldesberry.
Over the course of the 2023 season, the IRA Sprint Car Series has averaged 35 cars in attendance representing 5+ states each night. The IRA Sprint Car series also is tied with the number of full-timers at 12 full-time racers and 23 cars with more than 50% attendance.
Racers from around the midwest are anticipating a must-see spectacular race this upcoming Friday at the Dodge County Fairgrounds. Last year, Dylan Cisney brought home the win. Scotty Thiel brought home second, Jordan Goldesberry third. Will the rookie bring home a win at the horsepower half mile? Will the defending champion get his 4th win of the season and close the gap on the championship? Will an outsider come and take it from the hometown heroes?
Find out this upcoming Friday at the Dodge County Fairgrounds for the Harry Neitzel Tribute with the Bumper To Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprints, MSA 360 Winged Sprints, and Modifieds.
