Bryan Hulbert – LAWTON, Okla. (August 10, 2023) With a pair of quarter-miles in Texas and Oklahoma on the radar this weekend, the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating will head for Boyd Raceway on Friday, August 11, then Lawton Speedway on Saturday, August 12.
The last time the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series graced the clay at Boyd Raceway ended with Michael Day capturing a wingless win on June 24, 2016. The only other visit to the quarter-mile oval was on May 1, 2015, with Dustin Gates grabbing the win.
Events at Boyd Raceway open at 6:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and military, $6 for youth (6-12), and free for kids five and under. Pits are $35. Other classes include Eco Mods, Sport Mods, Sport Compacts, Factory Stocks, and I-Stocks.

Lawton Speedway on Saturday, the last trip to the Oklahoma oval on July 23, 2022, saw Shane Cockrum in Victory Lane for the first time with the wingless series.
Racing on Saturday, July 23, goes green at 8:30 P.M. Fans can enter the track starting at 6:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for Seniors, youth (12-15), and Military, $2 for kids 6-11, and free for kids five and under. In addition to the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series, divisions include USRA Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks, and USRA Modifieds. Lawton Speedway is located at 3501 SW Sheridan in Lawton, Okla.
