Landon Britt invaded the prestigious Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, Iowa) on Friday afternoon as his preliminary night kicked off for the 33rd annual Xtreme Powered by Mediacom 360 Knoxville Nationals presented by Great Southern Bank.
With his qualifying night draw a stout field of 54 talented competitors, Britt followed up the 44th-fastest qualifying lap with a ninth-place finish in his heat, relegating him into a C-Main. With a fourth-place finish elevating him into the B-Feature, Landon fell short a transfer spot into with an 18th-place outing.
Buried deep in his D-Main on Saturday for another shot into the $20,000-to-win 360 Knoxville Nationals finale, Landon elected to save equipment and sit out the 12-lap consolation race.
