Robards takes top-5 finish at Wayne County, RS12 fields quartet of entries

RS12 Motorsports kicked off its weekend at Wayne County Speedway (Wayne City, Illinois) on Friday with an impressive four cars in the 1/5-mile track’s Fast Friday program.

Harrison Robards and Brian Rieck each competed in the Outlaw Winged Micros class, with Robards behind the wheel of the No. 12R machine and Rieck piloting the No. 12 car.

Robards started and finished fifth in his heat, putting him eighth on the grid for the 20-lap A-Main. He picked up three spots in the feature to score a top-five finish behind Aarik Andruskevitch, Parker Perry, John Barnard and Victor Hensley.

Rieck meanwhile drove from fourth to second in his heat race, then began the main event from the pole position. He ultimately came home in the eighth spot.

RS12 driver Matt Bagby took on the A Class Winged Micros and turned in a third-place result in his heat after starting on the pole in his No. 42 ride. He went on to start seventh and finish eighth in his 20-lap A-Main.

Finally, Landon Miner got behind the wheel of a Micro for the first time at Wayne County Speedway. He represented RS12 Motorsports aboard the No. 11H car in the Restricted Micros class. After both starting and finishing fifth in his heat race, he drove from ninth to seventh in his 15-lap feature event.
