PARK CITY, Kan. (July 25, 2023) Chased by Mother Nature all weekend, Howard Moore ended up in Oklahoma and Kansas with his weekend high finish coming Saturday at 81 Speedway in Park City, Kan.
Diverting to Creek County Speedway on Friday, July 21 with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region presented by Smiley's Racing Products, the heavy race surface was a challenge with Moore's night ending 16th after pulling into the infield on Lap 8.
Having to wait out a pop-up storm on Saturday following the Heat Races at 81 Speedway, Moore was able to use restarts to his advantage to pick up five spots for the season's second fifth-place run and ninth overall top five.
"It was just AG and I in the pits. I appreciate everything he does for me and the team. These men do all they can to give me the best car every weekend. I am fully aware of how fortunate I am to have this team, along with the opportunity that AG has given me. AG works tirelessly to keep us on the track and on the road. To say I am grateful to AG and our sponsors would be an understatement," stated Moore to his Facebook page.
Focus turns now to the 33rd annual Xtreme Powered by Mediacom 360 Knoxville Nationals presented by Great Southern Bank at Knoxville Raceway, happening August 3-5.
