Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (July 24, 2023) – A special payout is on the line this Sunday at Huset’s Speedway, which hosts Nordstrom’s Automotive Night.
The Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks A Main will pay $1,500 to win and $200 to start as the special payout shifted to this event following a rainout at the track on July 21.
The Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars and the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series will both be in action as well.
Zach Olivier, who is the most recent Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks feature winner, holds an 18-point lead in the championship standings over J.J. Zebell and Matt Steuerwald. Colby Klaassen is 20 points behind Olivier with Tim Dann and Dan Jensen both 25 markers out of the top spot.
Mark Dobmeier holds a six-point advantage over Brooke Tatnell in the Cressman Sanitation 410 Outlaw Sprint Cars standings. Chase Randall ranks third (21 points back) with Riley Goodno (23 points back) and Justin Henderson (38 points back) rounding out the top five.
The closest championship battle is currently in the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series division. Cole Vanderheiden is only three points ahead of Trevor Serbus. Lee Goos Jr. is 14 points out of the top spot with Luke Nellis 15 points back and Blaine Stegenga 16 points back.
The main gates open at 4:30 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m.
Adult tickets are $20 at the gate or $17 if purchased in advance. Tickets for students 13-years-old to 18-years-old are $10 at the gate or $8 in advance. Children 12-years-old and younger get in free.
